Title: Dark

Summary: I took a stranger to notice.
Dark
It took an upbeat and quite possibly gay middle-aged instructor running a drama workshop she did not want to be in to see inside her. To see her dark soul. A complete stranger noticed what her family, friends, and teachers failed to see.
"Don't look so depressed" he cried in jest. She turned around muttered a swearword and smiled her fake smile at him.
She watched as he brimmed in happiness. She watched on jealously. She was so full of darkness. Demons and ghosts pulled her into the deep underworld each night. Her dreams scared her. Her thoughts concerned her. Especially those days when she wanted to jump of the nearest bridge. He saw inside her broken soul. Yet he was powerless to help her. All he could do is watch for forty more minutes to be her guardian angel. Then she was on her own. She was to fend for herself. She was to continue her broken and warped existence. To continue to walk in the shadows. To try to remain in the shades of grey and not let continuous blackness envelope her. She rejoiced when the bell rang signaling her freedom. She ran out. She ran away.
